Well, I made it through the first day of school and everything went pretty smooth. I will be teaching second grade this year and moving to a new room. I love the thought of creating a new classroom from scratch. I plan to do many things differently this year based on lessons I learned from my first year of teaching in the UAE. My biggest change will be creating an English and Arabic print rich classroom. I have printed off all of the classroom labels, calendar, posters, and discipline set to hang tomorrow as I begin working on my classroom.
